Lamiez and Khuli China Celebrate Their Son’s First Month Birthday
Lamiez Holworthy and Khuli Chana celebrate their son’s first month with a surprise reveal on Instagram. Fans had speculated about the birth after noticing Lamiez without her baby bump. Khuli shared a photo of the couple at a restaurant with a cake for their baby boy.
Lamiez and Khuli were nervous and sleepless before meeting their son.
“Do you remember what it was like the day you gave birth? Took this just after 6:30am,a few hours before we met our little guy and I’m sure you can tell just how scared Khulani was,” Lamiez joked. “Whom I kidding? We both hadn’t slept in anticipation. This would be the last time we sat in his nursery without him…it’s crazy, I really gave birth to the most perfect little guy,” said the doting new mommy.
They are already raising Khuli’s daughter from a previous marriage. Lamiez’s baby shower was attended by family and friends, including her best friend, The Funny Chef, who said she would make a great mother.
“Dawg? You’re about to be someone’s Mother , which is something you’re already doing … it’s nothing new , you’ve been showing up for all of us , pushing us , assuring us that we are good enough , you’ve been filling up empty places within ourselves that we thought we could never patch up. You’re going to be a Super Mom. Congratulations DJ yaka , Modimo Le Badimo bao okeletse go feta mo , ba tshireletse lelapa lago. I Love You .”
Lamiez was one mommy who looked fabulous throughout her pregnancy. She slammed those who dissed other pregnant mommies using her.

“So I’ve seen the comparisons, compliments and even jokes about pregnancy and whilst I count myself very lucky because I haven’t experienced any drastic physical changes(although the abdominal pains, swollen legs, nausea, migraines and hormones are showing me real flames) I simply don’t like the jokes attacking other pregnant women,” she started off her post.
“Truth is, No one has control over how they look or even how smoothly their pregnancy goes and to be subjected to the demeaning words and unnecessary verbal and emotional abuse isn’t fair,” she continued.
“ANY woman who carries life is a superhero with superpowers in my opinion and should all be celebrated and embraced regardless of how they look. There is no manual to this life thing and the least we can be is kinder because take it from me – pregnancy is no walk in the park! You’re literally risking your life to carry and bring a healthy, happy and normal child in to this world. And that? That makes me admire every single mother and those carrying life,” wrote the musician.
Lamiez went on to caution trolls, “DON’T ever use ME to bring down, bash or belittle another woman.”
