Ladies House has decided to donate to the Andile Bobo Mchunu family after the tragic death of their son. Bobo was killed and dumped in a Newton River in Tongaat after being accused of stealing beer. A video surfaced on social media with a young man being stepped on in a room stained with blood. The video is suspected to be that of Bobo.
One group member identified as Ngcobo Kwanele started the motion about the Ladies House Bobo Donations. She posted:

The post was followed by donations from well wishers. The story gripped thee whole of South Africa with residents of Hambanathi burning magagula lodge, a building that is suspected to have been the place Bobo was tortured and killed before being dumped into a river. Ladies House donation to the Mchunu family is evident how social media communities can help each other in times of need.
