KwaMashu disappointed with Nokuthula Mabika return to Uzalo
Uzalo is making all sorts of headlines of late thanks to their returning cast. Well, Mzansi might be more than impressed with the return of Uzlo firebrands such as Thobile and Gc but KwaMashu is not.
However, the duo returned to Mzanai most watched soapie with a bang no doubt to that. However back to their set, they have received a backlash from the KwaMashu society after letting Nokuthula Mabika back who plays Thobile.
The star actress has become unpopular in KwaMashu after knocking off someone with her car and failing to take responsibilities for her action. It was established that before her much-talked-about exit at first the star actress fatally rammed a local boy who is now paralysed and mentally challenged. In August 2019, Nokuthula Mabika knocked over a high school pupil with her car in KwaMashu, Kwa-Zulu Natal.
Maphalala family does not find it ok to have, Nokuthula Mabika around after the incident. The accident left Sanele Maphalala paralyzed. At the time of the dreadful accident, he was in grade 11 making him 18 at the time. He got into a coma for about two months, but the family’s excitement was short-lived. He became mentally disturbed and now paralyzed.

The family recently opened up to the media about their pain and burden. Speaking to the Daily Sun the family indicated that they were left shattered after they saw her face back on Mzansi’s screens.
“To us, justice was not served and was never served at any given moment up to now. She has not apologized to the family. Instead, she shifted the blame towards Sanele the victim.”
At some point, it was established that the family had to shut the TV as they could not bear the pain at all. According to the family member his condition has not improved at all and are still distraught. He was their only hope at a better life as they are poverty-stricken.
“We believe Nokuthula used her fame to hurt us. We wish her well. One day God will wipe our tears,” said the family.
However, rumour has it that after the incident Nokuthula drove Sanele to a local clinic. It was established that after the nurses examined him, they advised the actress to take him to the hospital because his injuries were quite severe. That is when she disappeared but she left a measly R150 with the victim and was never seen before. The family indicated that the investigations into the matter fizzled out very fast.
