Kirsty Coventry grabs Robert Zhuwao farm: Minister of Sport and Culture Kirsty Coventry is grabbing a farm from Robert Zhuwao, newphew of the late former President Robert Mugabe. The development has been brought to light by court papers served by Robert Zhuwao as he seeks to protect his property.
Kirsty Coventry’s husband has told the Zhuwaos that they have 30 days to leave according to the farm managers. They haven’t produced any offer letter according to their lawyers. The farm is only 232 hectares. Sabina Mugabe’s farm was also taken away according to a prominent journalist.
Zhuwao made an urgent Chamber Interdict for Spoliation and prohibition. He is suing Kirsty Coventry and the Ministry of Lands, Agriculture and Rural Settlement.
Part of the letter by Robert Zhuwao lawyers reads:

Land grabs are the norm in Zanu PF politics as former cabinet ministers and Zanu PF politicians previously aligned to former President Mugabe are being targeted. The Mugabe family is also a target. Former Local Government Minister Saviour Kasukuwere was invaded by war veterans who harvested oranges. It has also been identified for the controversial downsizing move by the Ministry of Agriculture, Lands and Rural Resettlement Perrence Shiri. The famr belonging to Robert Mugabe was also invaded late last year but the former First Lady Grace Mugabe fend off the invaders. Politicisation of land started during the Mugabe era and it seem to be never ending as long as Zanu PF is in power.
Kirsty Coventry could not be reached for comment.
