King Lion on the death bed: Watch how lions look when they give their last kicks
The lion is the King in the jungle with no direct enemy threatening its life on an average day. As fearless and pompous as they look during their pick and healthy days, Lions also have to answer the call of nature and die. Their nature of living as families gives them to leverage from any potential attacks in the woods.
Naturally, lions are hunters of big and less speedy animals like Buffalos and Zebras. They took advantage of these animals’ lack of speed and awareness. However, in some instances, ambitious and isolated lions can be killed by a few animals in their defence. All this has made lions undisputed as the King of the Jungle. But there are a few things that can take away the life of a fully grown and healthy lion. Sickness, human attacks, snake bites, and lion fights are other causes of lion deaths.
The sad last moments of dying lions
It is sad to watch a fully grown lion dying helplessly. Of course, the lion had taken many lives before and created his name undisputed. It is generally preferred to watch a lion dying from a vicious fight than to watch it fall to the ground with no threat to anything. Below is a video where grown-up Lions were captured during their last moments.

Leading causes of Lion deaths in Africa
Research in South Africa showed that human orchestration is the biggest threat to wildlife. Illegal wildlife trade, poaching and trophy hunting have been the main threats to lions in South Africa. As a result, lions move away as far as possible, seeking safer territories. Diseases like Bovine Tuberculosis, Canine Distemper and Feline Parvovirus also take lions on a larger scale.
