Kayise was born in 1991, making her 30 years of age right now. She is the eldest in her family with two other siblings. She relocated to Pretoria at the age of ten and attended high school at The Glen High School which she graduated in 2008.
House of Zwide is not her first acting debut. The first time she appeared on Television was when she landed the role of Portia in the SABC 1 TV series Mina Nawe. In 2016 she landed a minor role on Mzansi Magic’s Its Complicated as a journalist.
Kayise Ngqula is the famous former presenter of Our Perfect Wedding. One can not forget her bubbly personality as she went and helped a lot of couples get married in Mzansi. She worked on the show for ten weeks before Nomsa Buthelezi took over. Fans raised eyebrows at her exit, and they wondered if she had been fired.
Kayise on the loss of her husband
The actress has not had an easy life, however. We can not leave mentioning the accident that almost took her life when talking about real-life facts about Gugu from House of Zwide. Less than a year after she was married, she lost her husband. The two lovebirds were involved in a car accident in June 2019 when they were driving around Sandton. They were both rushed to the hospital. Kayise took some time to heal from her injuries and even moved around in a wheelchair. Farai, her husband, succumbed to his injuries though leaving her widowed at 28.
Kayise was involved in a serious legal battle with her in-laws after the funeral. Farai’s family wanted their son’s inheritance to be shared equally amongst his three children, of which two of them were from previous relationships. Kayise refused. Farai’s brother, who wanted to keep staying at the apartment that Kayise rented with Farai, was thrown out, and Kayise took a protection order against him.
Kayise is a single mom of one. She has not gone public with any man since her husband died, and we can not be sure if she is seeing someone or not.
