He then made his TV acting debut e.tv telenovela Isipho, where he played the starring role of Neo. Isipho was axed.
Karabo was distraught by the sudden end of the show. Karabo landed a job at Generations: The Legacy. On 15 May he debuted on the SABC1 soapie Generations: The Legacy in the role of Luyolo, a Rastafarian medical school graduate

The multi-talented Karabo is also a singer of note. He formed part of an acapella group called ‘This Is It’, which made it to the semi-finals at the National Eisteddfod competition.
