Kaizer Chiefs booted out of the Nedbank cup by a mere 1st Division side
The Soweto giants, Kaizer Chiefs were humiliated on home turf yesterday when they suffered a 1- 0 defeat to Richards Bay. Kaizer Chiefs fans were outraged by the loss and took to Twitter to voice out their disappointment. Some blamed goalkeeper Daniel Akpeyi for performing dismally while others dragged out coach Gavin Hunt. The former is being equated to a pastor, while the latter is being labeled a misfit.
Lately, Amakhosi have been on loosing streak which has left their fans desperate for victory. Last week, the Soweto derby ended with the Chiefs being served a bitter loss. Rivals Orlando pirates, triumphed over Kaizer Chiefs in a match that ended with a 2 – 1 score line. Other fans are nostalgic of the days when Bra K hired experienced coaches not the ones he has been employing in the past 5 years.
