Kabelo Moalusi was born on the 15th of August 1984 in Kagiso then grew up in Krugersdorp, South Africa. He grew up with both his parents, who are still alive today, and for siblings. Also let’s not forget that Kabelo has a twin named Keabetswe.
He ended up going to primary in Kagiso then matriculated at West Ridge High School. The Vutha actor graduated from Dremlin with a Bachelors in Marketing and business Management.
Career
Whilst at school studying for his degree Kabelo Moalusi took to modelling. Part of his work the agency he worked with was theatre. Acting came in the moment and was not planned in Kabelo’s life but he is glad he took the chance. The actor will be first to tell you that the industry is hard and during his theatre days he often thought of quitting but Kabelo is glad he stuck to acting.
His breakthrough role was on the soapie “Backstage”. Kabelo then acted in the e.tv drama series “Z’bondiwe” where he played Lunga. This was in 2016 and he was a reoccurring character. Later on in the same year Kabelo Moalusi played another reoccurring role as “The Queen”’s Roy on Mzansi Magic. His most famous role was that of Siya Radebe on the soapie “Generations: The Legacy”. Kabelo has also stares as an accountant named Mokau Malefo on SABC 2’s “Bone of My Bones”. He then joined the cast of “Isidingo” on SABC. He played Ofentse Moloi. Kabelo had a starring role in 2018, as Tumelo on the Mzansi Magic’s “The Throne.
His most current roles are on Gomora and Vutha with the latter being on SABC 2. Dr Kgopotso Moabe is Kabelo Moalusi’s character. Many are excited to watch the man in action again.
