Juventus Defender Daniele Rugani has tested positive for COVID-19 and is currently been taken into quarantine. The news comes after Juventus talisman Ronaldo has skipped Italy for his hometown Madeira to reduce the risk of him contracting the virus.
Juventus head coach Maurizio Sarri instructed all players to keep training at the club’s training facilities, but their top goal scorer Cristiano Ronaldo decided to leave Italy to his hometown Madeira in Portugal to stay away from Europe’s Corona Virus hotspot.
The infection of Rugani comes after he mixed with his teammates during the win over Inter Milan 2 days ago. Juventus are fearing for the worst, that the virus can infect more than just one player in their team.
Juventus has a total squad value of 1.51 billion U.S. dollars as of end of 2019.
