Six people have been arrested in connection with the murder of Duduzo Andile Mbuthu known as Bobo. A beer bar owner of a place called Magagula lounge has been arrested according to Bobo’s former school Nkosibomvu Secondary School. Bobo was murdered after he was accused of stealing beer from his uncle’s bottle store. #JusticeForBobo (Justice For Bobo) has been trending on Twitter. Bobo Mchunu’s uncle is reported to have been arrested.
A young man called Bobo his nickname who was reported missing last week.
The video circulation on social media shows a young man in a room and is severely beaten and is lying on the floor and there is blood and water and weapons that were used to beat him. There is a man who enters into the room and orders him to start cleaning up. Bobo was heavily beaten and couldn’t just rise up to clean up. He was struggling to pull himself up. The person who enters the run puts his foot on him and pushes him down. The man leaves the room later. Bobo was later found dead.

Here is another version: Andile Mchunu (Bobo) in South Africa was beaten by a group of men for allegedly stealing alcohol and money. His sister came to fetch him after it was reported that he was being beaten but she was told to go fetch him some clothes and when she came back from fetching the clothes she was told that Andile has escaped. Which is hard to believe because a video of him unconscious has been circulating and a person in his state would’ve never been able to escape. And now the boy is nowhere to be found. “As a community of Hambanathi we need justice to be served for Andile Mchunu (Bobo) #justiceforbobo,” said one of the community members
Other reports suggest the owner of the tavern is allegedly very good friends with local police.
