Not only Mzansi is mourning but the world at large. Savanna News has learnt of the untimely death of the passing of legendary TV, film and theatre actor, Shaleen Surtie-Richards.
However little is still known about the causes of her death as of now. The celebrated star actress was one of Mzansi’s finest talent and was better known for her unmatched talent. She made a name for herself in the entertainment industry when she became an eGoli firebrand.
She was well known for her role as Nenna on long-running soapie eGoli as well as for playing Fiela Komoetie in the 1988 film adaptation of the Afrikaans novel Fiela se kind.
Born in Upington on 7 May 1955, she passed away at the age of 66 at her Johannesburg home. News of her untimely death was first published by local news outlets.

However, it was recently reported that Legendary actor MacDonald Mathunjwa dies. Mzansi is mourning after the untimely death of a king in the history-making and a seasoned actor not only in Mzansi but the world at large. Veteran actor MacDonald Mathunjwa has passed on.
However, the celebrated actor is best known for his starring roles as Vusi in Home Affairs and Rev Phiri in Bone of Bones. It has been established that he died in the early hours of Monday morning, 31 May.
His untimely death was confirmed by his family. However, his Zanoxolo Mathunjwa took to social media to share the news. In the wake of his death, he has seen himself trending. Several fellow workmates weighed into the comment section with comforting messages.
“RIP daddy, heartbroken. MacDonald Ndodana Mathunjwa passed away today,” she said.
