Jaqueline Kabi Mpambani, popularly known as Mama Jackie, the controversial orphanage Ithuteng owner, ex-convict and mother of the ex-convict television presenter and rapper Jub Jub, has served Jub Jub’s rape accusers with letters of demand. The accusers are actress Amanda du-Pont and former Metro FM presenter Masechaba Khumalo who’s currently the Department of Arts and Culture spokesperson. One of Jub Jub’s rape accusers is his cousin, but Mama Jackie has surprisingly not taken any legal action against her for now. A family decision, perhaps?

When MacG interviewed Jub Jub on the show Podcast and Chill, he said he dated both Kelly Khumalo and Amanda du-Pont at the same time. Kelly was using muti to focus less on his relationship with Amanda. Jub Jub said he ‘ smashed ‘ Amanda du-Pont, and that’s the word that angered Amanda.
Amanda took to her Instagram account to post a video where she told her followers the rapper raped her for two years. Jub Jub also physically abused her, almost killed her. She was scared to leave because of Mama Jackie’s influence and use of muti. When she tweeted a video link on Twitter, Masechaba retweeted a similar incident with Jub Jub. Masechaba stated she was raped by Jub Jub when she was 19 in his mother’s home.
Things that happened after the accusations
There was a division of people against Jub Jub and some defending him. A lot of people supported the rape accusers. Jub Jub got suspended from Uyajola 9/9 and apologized to Amanda for using the word ‘ smashed ‘.
Mama Jackie’s letters of demand to Amanda du-Pont and Masechaba Khumalo
Mama Jackie wants the comments about her being a criminal, having dodgy dealings with Oprah, having a hold over her son and using muti retracted. She also wants Amanda and Masechaba to remove all social media posts about her and her son, stop talking about the rape allegations and demand that the two women publicly apologize to her and her son.
