Zimbabwe journalists Munashe Chokodza and Leopold Munhende were assaulted by soldiers in Warren Park on Wednesday night.
The soldiers questioned the journalists asked the journalists to explain the reasons for their movement to which they responded by producing their press cards. The soldiers proceeded to command the journalists to lie down.
The soldiers accused the journalists for acting like special citizens and implying they are untouchable. They proceeded to assault Chokodza and Munhende using baton sticks, punches and claps before asking them to leave or face further beatings.
