Isibaya Ndlovu family rural house used without permission, owners fume at show Producers
Isibaya producers has been slammed for using the show’s Ndlovu family rural home without permission from the KZN real owners. The Msinga, KwaZulu Natal based Sithole family has claimed that Mzansi Magic drama series Isibaya show producers are disrespecting them and expose their home to the public without compensation.

A family member Ayanda Sithole claimed that Isibaya producers tricked their late mother with R500 for access.
“The producers come and told my late mom that they are just admiring the homestead and required access and permission to take photos. They were granted all the access and gave my mother R500 as a token of appreciation, she said.
Ayanda claims that the family were shocked to see their house on the show.
“Our family relatives and family friends were surprised to see our house on the show. We have had people always coming here to take pictures and some even come hoping to see Isibaya actors. Family privacy has been invaded but no compensation has been received from the show organizers,” she said.
The Sithole family also alleges that their efforts to contact show management haven’t been fruitful.
Isibaya is not new to controversy as one KZN family alleged to have seen their stolen goats on the show.
