International songstress Kelly Rowland’s surprise visit to South Africa stirs up the Anele Mdoda beef.
It’s unclear why Kelly Rowland is in the country, but social media doesn’t care. Anele Mdoda has been dealing with the nasty side of social media ever since she said Kelly Rowland depended on makeup to look pretty, Anele went on to say that without makeup it’s ticketed for Kelly and that she has the receipts. Anele was responding to a tweet made by Sizwe Dlomo saying Kelly might be the prettiest out of the three Destiny’s Child members.
Social media hasn’t let Anele live that down and it happened in 2019. Anele unintentionally invites negative comments every time there is a tweet about or from Kelly Rowland. Kelly Rowland announced that she was in the country after one of her fans asked her if she knew that whenever she posts that SA black Twitter goes into shambles.

Once black tweep saw this post they wasted no time poking Anele saying she must wake up because Kelly is in town. The two ladies have been trending on Twitter since Kelly made the post. Most tweeps have been saying the two must join in the Cassper Nyovest Celebrity Match to settle their beef.
Kelly Rowland’s South Africa visit brings up Anele Mdoda drama
The Motivation hitmaker recently took a picture of herself wearing the same yellow swimsuit as the one Anele was wearing once when she was on holiday. People thought Kelly was throwing subtle shade in Aneles’ direction. When Anele visited the podcast with MacG, she was asked why she hated Kelly so much, Anele stood her ground and said she didn’t hate Kelly but insisted that she just thinks Kelly is not prettier than Beyonce.
Anele saw black American Twitter come for her at some point about this issue as well. Some tweeps took it as far as saying Kelly is visiting the country to fight Anele. It looks like Kelly Rowland took some time to go out and join some of the celebrities as some like Bridget Masinga are seen in a few pictures with her. The reason for Kellys’ surprise visit will probably be exposed soon.
