Former Idols SA contestant and South African artist Lloyiso Gijana dinned with the Beckham family when he performed during Brooklyn Beckham and his wife Nicola Peltz’s wedding.
Former Manchester United and Real Madrid winger David Beckham and his wife Victoria “Posh Spice” are proud parents after witnessing their son tying a knot in a glamourous private event. Brooklyn Beckham exchanged vows with his two-year girlfriend Nicola Peltz – daughter of billionaire investor Nelson Peltz and model Claudia Heffner in a star-studded event.
According to Entertainment magazine Vogue, soon after dinner, the newlyweds had their first dance to “Only Fools Rush In”, performed by rising South African artist Lloyiso.
Lloyiso performed in a lineup of performers, including three-time Grammy Award winner Marc Antony, an achievement that made South Africans proud.

The raise of Lloyiso Gijana
Born in Port Elizabeth, the singer, songwriter and producer Lloyiso appeared on Idols SA at sixteen and emerged at number five in the competition. He dropped out of school after spending three weeks at university to focus on music and had to perform in local pubs and restaurants in exchange for food.
Inspired by American hip hop singer and businessman Kanye West, Lloyiso recorded in English and ten different African languages during his early days.
Taking over social media, Lloyiso amplified his voice globally by posting covers on Facebook before embracing YouTube. He gained the endorsement of everyone from Kygo to Tyga and gradually amassed an enthusiastic audience.
Lloyiso generated millions of views on the Tik Tok application in 2020 and attracted the attention of worldwide record labels. He notably made history as the first South African artist signed to Republic Records. Now, he conveys feeling in its purest form through a series of new singles ignited by his debut “Seasons.”
