The first season of The Wife was a success; many show fans had a few complaints about the production. The second season, however, had several complaints from both the viewers and actors of the show, and after that, the showrunners took a break to try and give fans a story closer to the book storyline. The series, which has been in production for several months now, will finally start airing this week, and excited fans can not wait. Like all the seasons before this one, The Wife crew held a launch party for the third season over the weekend, and it was a star-studded event.
About The Wife’s third season
Many celebrities and cast members cane in all their glamourous glory to the launch of the new season. The new season will be primarily based on Qhawe, and Naledi’s love story, which will be full of drama as two powerful and ruthless families meet and clash. Qhawe will also have to fight for his love against her family and another contender after Naledi’s heart.
The actor Kwenzo Ngcobo who has earned the nickname of being the national boyfriend, will play the lead character of Qhawe. Gaisang Noge, famously known as Mampho in House of Zwide, will take the role of his love interest Naledi. Sello Motloung will lead the Montsho family and take on the part of the patriarchal head of the family and Naledi’s father. Many actors will join the cast of the hit drama series in the next season, including faces that we know and love on Mzansi’s entertainment scene.
Inside The Wife season 3 launch
The launch of the third season was held, and many stars dressed to kill for the event. The hostess for the show was none other than renowned actress Thando Thabethe who came dressed for the occasion and ensured the guests were entertained. The launch party had several famous guest artists like Kwestar and Langa Mavuso. Thuli Phongolo and Lerato Kganyago were the DJs for the evening, and the guests partied the night away.
Scandal actress Boikanyo Botlhale was part of the guest who attended together with Nefisa Makabela, the main character in House of Zwide. Other influencers like Rendani Jennifer and Nqobile Khwezi also shared videos of how they enjoyed the launch party while dancing and partying. All the guests for the evening got a gift of a Johnny Walker bottle engraved with their names to take home.
