In Pictures: Veteran actors Patrick Ndlovu and Lillian Dube set to join Durban Gen.
Durban Gen has been giving jobs to many actors and entertainers as of late in the drama series. Stained Glass Productions has been introducing different patients every week, and this has seen some new talent and veterans in the industry making either a debut or a comeback.
Veterans in the acting industry Patrick Ndlovu and Lillian Dube are also set to join the etv medical drama series. According to Phil Mpela, the production house is adding the two actors into Durban Gen. The roles they are going to take on are not yet made public. However, Patrick and Lilian will make their debut appearances on the 1st of April on the Telenovela.
About Lillian Dube
Lillian Dube has been in the acting industry longer than most actors in Mzansi. She has been active since her debut role in Mapantsula’s movie in 1988, and she has not stopped since then. In the 90s, Lillian was in several hit movies like There’s a Zulu on my stoep, Cry my Beloved Country, A good man in Africa and many more.
Lillian later started incorporating her talent into drama serials and comedies as she grew older in her craft. She is famous for portraying sister Bettina in the drama series Soul City. The veteran actress has been infamous in series like Generations, Skwizas, The Lab and many others. Last week the actress was announced to be one of the presenters of a Cooking show and showed her excitement as it is her first time being a presenter.
Patrick Ndlovu and Lillian Dube are set to join Durban Gen in April.
Lillian Dube is the known brand ambassador of Clientele life insurance, and Desmond Dube, who fans say is her son. However, they have opened up about not being mother and son, but many people still don’t believe them.
About Patrick Ndlovu
Many people know this veteran actor as Ntate Moloi in SABC 1 drama series Zone 14. The older generation who lived when Shaka Zulu was still airing on TV liked how he played Mudli, an advisor to Shaka and his father, Senzangakhona. On Yizo Yizo, he played the principal Mr Mthembu.
Recently the veteran actor had a role on The Queen as a man called Gold finger, and he made his debut in 2017. Together with Lillian Dube, they have been featured in the 1995 movie Cry the Beloved Country, and viewers will enjoy seeing them work together again on-screen.
