Gugu announced her pregnancy on Instagram and revealed that she was already pregnant when her mother, Zanele kaMagwaza-Msibi, passed away on 6 September 2021.

MaMlambo’s baby came after struggling for a long period; she revealed that together with her late mother. They prayed for conception; unfortunately, Zanele passed on before physically meeting the answer to her prayers.
