In Pictures, Uzalo actor Sbonelo ‘Wiseman Mncube’ keeps winning, shows off R1.5 million car.
Uzalo actor Wiseman Mncube who plays the role of Sbonelo Mhlongo on the SABC1 soap opera keeps winning as he flaunts an R1.5million BMW car. Sbonelo previously hogged headlines in February when he splashed R3.1 million over a new house and posted his milestone achievement on social media.
On Uzalo, Sbonelo is a qualified medical doctor who exchanged medical practice for criminal life of guns and drugs. He resigned after secretly killing Nsizwa; he is the biological son of Nkunzi and Gabisile. Over the storyline, Sbonelo married two wives and later divorced them. Sbonelo struggles to live a life away from his father’s shadow.
In contrast to his onscreen character on Uzalo, Sbonelo loses everything he worked hard for. His source of pride, the newly constructed Bhebhe distillery, was temporarily shut down by the police to undertake the Nomzamo murder investigation. With the Mhlongo elders on his neck for bringing the family name into disrepute, Sbonelo lost the custodian of Mhlongo land to Nkunzi.
Wiseman made his acting breakthrough on Uzalo by playing the Sbonelo character and quickly became the fan’s favourite. He won the SAFTA Best Actor Award in 2020, a reward for his acting skills.
In real life, Wiseman Mncube is an academic as Sibonelo on Uzalo; he graduated with a Diploma in Drama and Film production from the Durban University of Technology in 2011. He dubs as a recording artist and MC; his multiple talents are beginning to reap the rewards.
Sbonelo shows off an R1.5 million BMW car
Wiseman took it to social media to show off a new BMW 4 Series M440i xDrive Gran Coupe valued at R1.5 million. He took a video driving the new beast from BMW Fourways, an authorised BMW dealership.
A caption accompanied his post.
“What happens when a Zulu man and a German car are side by side … you decide for yourself.”
It’s not yet clear if the actor purchased the car or had an advertising deal with the dealership.
