In Pictures, The Wife Director Luthando Mngomezulu castrated on Durban Gen.
Durban Gen is one of the most-watched drama series on eTV at the moment, with its exciting storylines every week. The drama series has seen its actors win several awards for their roles in the Stained Glass production.
Last Friday, a new face made a debut appearance on Durban Gen as a patient in so much pain. Viewers noticed that the face was a familiar one in the acting industry. The actor Luthando Mngomezulu is the man who is behind the scenes in productions like The Wife, Uzalo and Durban Gen sometimes. The actor is a professional Film and TV director and a theatre director who has been in the entertainment industry for several years.
Luthando takes on the role of Bheka Sithole, who rushes himself to the emergency room with bleeding private parts. It turns out that Bheka has had his private part castrated. He tells the doctors that a dog bit him and ran away. The doctors and Calvin say that they will need the part that was bitten off to put it back together, and he would need a shot for rabies.
A young woman comes to the hospital seeking medical attention in a surprising turn of events. After being attended to by Calvin, she asks to have a female doctor or nurse attend to her as she was uncomfortable with a male one. Dr Zondo agrees to listen to her and gets the shock of her life when the woman takes out a piece of a man’s privates that’s covered in a handkerchief after asking for a rape kit.
