In Pictures, The Wife actress ‘Three20’ Stella Dlangalala’s business empire gets Mzansi talking.
Many know her from the Showmax series playing Nomusa’s cellmate in prison. Stella Dlangalala has brought her role as a prisoner to life to the dot. The actress embodies her character so much that most people assume she is that lawbreaker in real life. However, how she gets into a character only tells a story of her talent, and she makes a living above the law offscreen.
Three20 first appeared on the show in the second season’s fourth episode. She was coming from isolation when she saw Nomusa in her cell. After asking who she is and Nomusa lies that she is Zandile, Three20 threatens to out her because she knew Zandile. However, the two then have a talk and Three20 promises to keep the dirty little secret. The two grow an improbable friendship in the cell as they are opposites.
Stella, as an actress, is most famous for her role on Netflix’s Jiva. She plays the role of Lady E in the drama series that tells a story of sisterhood through dance. She has also been part of a Showmax show called Standup comedy in 2019. Before that, she landed a minor role in The River, playing a Dodgy woman. Currently, she is working on her role as a prisoner on The Wife.
Stella Dlangalala’s business empire impresses Mzansi
Before venturing into drama, Stella made sure she made a name for herself in Theatre. Since 2011 she has been cast in plays that saw her build her portfolio till she could perform on Television. She was featured in plays like Matamorphisi, Hush; The Dogs must be crazy and many more. The actress has a Drama, Media and Marketing degree from the University of KwaZulu Natal.
When she is not an actress, either on Television or on stage, she is a fitness coach. Stella uses her Facebook, Instagram and Tik Tok pages to encourage people to stay fit. She has the body to show for her passion as a fitness trainer.
