The drama series has chosen some of the industry’s best actors to join its cast. One of Mzansi’s best veteran actors, Magic Hlatshwayo, joins The Wife cast.
This week’s triple dose of The Wife episodes had a lot of viewers in their feelings. The Zulu family’s history and the death of their parents were shown in an episode as Mqhele remembered how he witnessed the gruesome murders of his parents. Several new faces were introduced to the series, including the veteran actor Magic Hlatshwayo. He was introduced as the Chief of Mbuba village.
In a crazy turn of events, Hlomu was scared of her brothers in law after her marriage to Mqhele. After she made her fears known to Mqhele, he asked his brother to do a ceremony to make her feel like she was part of the family. They wanted to introduce her to their late parents. So they had to go back to the village where their parents were massacred years ago by the villagers. They went to the Chief’s homestead to ask permission to rebuild their father’s house, which was burnt down.
