In the wake of the upcoming Municipal elections on 1 November, South African celebrities have made their political choices known. The rich political landscape has seen many musicians and actors publicly announcing their affiliations. Makhadzi was recently attacked on social media after posing for pictures dressed in the ruling party ANC themed dress to honour an invitation by President Cyril Ramaphosa, a Twitter post she later deleted.
