A few weeks ago, the eTV soapie Durban Gen introduced a new character on the screens. Sihle is the name of nature, and Dippy Padi plays it. We first saw Sihle going to her cousin Sne at her workplace. Just before reaching Sne, she tried to flirt with the head of security in the hospital. Fans could tell she was trouble as she didn’t back down, although the head of security told her she was married.
Sihle finally saw her cousin Sne, and she was very loud. She made noise about her cousin getting married to a surgeon in the hospital.
After meeting Sne’s fiance, Sihle tried kissing him, and Sne saw them smooching. We saw so much unnecessary drama from Sihle. She even tried to stop the wedding, but she held herself back like a mature adult.
Dippy has a lot of acting experience. She appeared in the Netflix production called How To Ruin Christmas. She also acted as the character Pinkie on Muvhango. Pinkie was the girlfriend of a psycho former medical doctor. Together they kidnapped a character called Matshidiso, and they asked her husband for a ransom.
A few years ago, she was also on the SABC 1 sitcom Single Girls. Her character name was Kea, and Mzansi fell for her sass. She acted like a kasi born aspiring fashion designer living in the city as a single girl.
Sihle is a musician in real life.
Dippy has a solo single called Get Away. She also has songs with the most famous and talented Mzansi DJs. Her song with Da Capo is titled Thando Lwami. Her song with Lulo Cafe is called Fly Away. Her song alongside the famous deep house maestro Cubique Dj is titled The Power.
On stage, she wears theatrical costumes that grab the eye. Dippy also possesses fantastic energy that gets the crowd jumping.
Dj Dimplez’s passing
She and the late Dj Dimplez were very close friends from a long time ago. His death this year hit her very hard, and she was public about it. She also created a video compilation of the moments they shared. She chose the song I Miss You by Aaliyah to play in the background.
