With a career spanning decades, the bubbly actress has fast become one of the big names for small screens. Natasha Sutherland is an award-winning actress best known for her on-screen Scandal character as Layla McKenzie on the etv drama series Scandal.
In Scandal, she happens to be the mother of Quinton Nyathi, who died in a tragic accident after he was run over by a refuse truck owned by the Kubeka’s. She is a mother inlaw to Dintle Nyathi.
Currently, she has been struggling in keeping up with lies covering up for Dintle at work which is connecting the dots about the untimely death of his husband.
Layla has been covering her daughter-in-law as she fixes the puzzle of Quinton’s death. Dintle is more than convinced that the Kubekas are hiding something and knows something in regards to Quinton’s death.

A few years later, in 1996, she made history when she was cast in television serials: Honeytown and Tarzan: The Epic Adventures. These two home serials offered her an international appreciation. Against the backdrop of her big wins, she played a lead role in Operational Delta in 1997. Years later, she was cast in Scandal.
No doubt she a jack of all trades and master of all. She is a celebrated author and motivational speaker. Her cool has seen her bagging ambassadorial endorsements with South African Beauty brand ‘Placecol’ and ‘DNB’.

The 51-year-old actress was born on 20 November 1970 in Durban, South Africa. She happens to be the daughter of choreographers Geoffrey Sutherland and Kenlynn Ashby.
