It is without a doubt that Nay Maps is a Jack of all trades and master of all. The actor made all sorts of headlines in 2021 as he landed jobs left, right and centre. Nay Maps had said that 2021 was a “Nay Maps year, ” and the actor ruled the entertainment scene by the end of the year. With his roles having less screen time, he has worked on his career as a musician.
The Muvhango villain turned victim shared on Instagram that he held a listening session with his closest friends. The listening session was done in collaboration with Bombay Gin, for which he is a brand ambassador. He announces that he will be releasing his first single soon. Nay has musician written in his bio but has not released any of his works before, so fans are excited.
In Nay Maps’ post, he says that the sound will be a reflection of his personality. Many of his fans took a wild guess in the comment section and said it’s an RnB song. Some are just excited about their favourite celebrity venturing into music finally. Some people at his listening session commented and said the track is fire, and they can not wait for the world to hear it.
Nay Maps teases his first song as a musician
Nay Maps joined the entertainment industry as an actor and is famous for his prime-time telenovelas roles. When he landed the role of Mxolisi in Uzalo, he cemented his position in the acting industry. After that role, he went on to get roles in Muvhango and Imbewu-The Seed. However, his first lead role came when he landed his role in Umkhokha as Sphamandla and, soon after, a Netflix hit movie called Little Big Mouth.
Besides all the roles he has taken on, he also finds time to run two businesses. He owns a clothing label and an ice cream company that is thriving. Sometimes he gets presenter jobs on Television and Awards shows. We can not wait to see him soaring to new heights as a musician.
