Former Scandal actor and now film-maker and director Kagiso Yabakwena celebrated his birthday with a fun costume party. He and his guests were dressed as Vikings, and it looked like it was straight from a movie. Kagiso is very vocal about being a family man. We have seen this countless times when he speaks about his life. His family is number one when he opens his mouth.
A lot of people know and remember him as Mangi Nyathi on Scandal. He used to play the son of Daniel Nyathi and was the CEO of NFH for some time. He decided to leave the eTV soapie to pursue his interests in filmmaking. After leaving Scandal, he acted on a SABC 1 sitcom. He shocked Mzansi when he created and released his film titled Finding Lerato.
In the most recent years, he became publicly vocal about the importance of male circumcision. He went through this to protect his wife from cervical cancer. He described the six weeks of healing he endured as complex but worth it.

Time with wife
His wife was obviously at the party with him. Both of them shared a beautiful Viking moment. His wife held a fake sword over his shoulder; in the past, queens used to praise Vikings and knights in that way to show them respect. He and his wife had a jol, and all the pictures prove it.
An emotional speech by one daughter
Kagiso is a father of two beautiful daughters. One of which acted alongside him in his movie Finding Lerato. Finding Lerato was compared to the film The Pursuit of Happiness, starring Will Smith and his son Jaden Smith. Sure the storylines are different, but the intensity and relations are almost the same.

Thando the movie
Kagiso is receiving excellent reviews for his latest film called Thando. Thando is a movie about young women and their struggles on their journeys up. Issues of insecurity are vividly shown in the film. Other essential and prominent issues affecting society tackled in the movie are bullying and the blesser trend. Thando is currently showing in cinemas.
Loved up
At the movie launch, Thando, Kagiso thanked his wife for making it all possible. He said if it weren’t for her support, the movie wouldn’t even exist. Both he and his wife share a mutually respectful and loving marriage.
