Gomora is among the most watched telenovelas in Mzansi as it has a real-life storyline that displays most people’s day-to-day lives in South Africa. The telenovela also has outstanding actors and actresses who have a charming way of keeping fans glued to their screens. Gomora has a variety of actors, and among them are upcoming actresses like Mazet ( played by Siphesihle Ndaba) and Tshiamo (played by Lerato Mokoka).
On Gomora, the two stay at MaMsonto’s house, and Tshiamo is a 16-year-old school girl, whilst Mazet is a young adult who is a car hijacking queen. On set, Tshiamo is way too young than Mazet, but, surprisingly, in real life, Tshiamo is older.

Lerato Mokoka, who portrays the role of Tshiamo on Gomora, was born on 17 January 1996 in Rustenburg, South Africa. As of 2022, the actress is 25 years old, much older than the 16-year-old Tshiamo role she is playing on Gomora.
On the other hand, Siphesihle Ndaba, who plays Mazet, was born on 4 August 1997 in Soweto, South Africa. As of 2022, the actress we all love to hate is 24 years old, much younger than her character on Gomora. Although she is young, Mazet’s acting skills are extraordinary, and her effortless ability to nail a gangster role has left many thinking she was old.
Acting roles on Gomora
Tshiamo is the teenage daughter of Pretty Molefe and Sbonga. She lives at the Sonto house with her grandmother MaMsonto, her cousins, and Mazet. Her character is best friends with Sibongile (played by Nandipa Khubone), and she often finds herself lying to safeguard her friend in challenging situations. She is indeed talented as she is portraying her role to excellency.
On the other hand, Mazet is a car hijacking superintendent who stays at MaMsonto as she has no family. Her character is a young adult lady who recruited her ex-lover Ntokozo (played by Ntobeko Sishi), into a criminal life. She is playing her role perfectly and slowly becoming one of Mzansi’s favourite actresses. Her character recently went on a mission to hijack cars and mistakenly shot a woman; her actions can make her face jail.
