Gomora actress Mam’Sonto ‘Connie Chiume’ celebrated her 70th birthday on 5 June this year, and she is still celebrating it to this day. It’s been a long time since Sonto graced our small screens since her days as Rosie in a television film called The Line. Since those early days, Connie developed her skills to become of the finest actresses in Mzansi, winning several awards.
Connie gave birth to four children and many grandchildren in her private life, which is a testament to how old she has grown. All this success on and off screen justifies celebrating 70 years over and over again. A few months after her birthday, well-wishers organised a big celebration filled with expensive champagne in Capetown. Well-wishers made sure that Connie would have a blast in her apartment doing what she loves and drinking champagne having some time to relax.
Inside Gomora actress ‘Mam’Sonto’ Connie Chiume’s belated birthday vacation in Cape Town
It’s always so difficult to impress a seventy-year-old granny with anything, worse off getting to make her have fun. So was the task to the wishers who sponsored Connie Chiume for a belated birthday vacation in Cape Town. They took their time and waited for a late vacation present, showing why they delayed. It looked as if they had been planning and seeking a way to make her happy since her June birthday.
They ensured Sonto had her apartment where she had all the freedom she wanted to express herself the way 70-year-olds do. Naturally, Connie is an indoors person, and she made sure to have a blast indoors. She had champagne, good food, great music, and a few of the caretakers who popped up here and there. In appreciation, Sonto thanked the ladies who sponsored the event for its success. Many fans assumed that the ladies she referred are her daughters who spoiled their mother.

Mam’Sonto ‘Connie Chiume’ is under fire on Gomora.
After the death of her granddaughter Buhle ‘Ama Qamata’, Sonto went wild as she hunted Qhoqhoqho down and burned him alive. Since then, she went low, but it seemed that after investigations by the police, leads are leading to Sonto, and she is due for questioning. On the other side, her daughter, Thathi, wants to come back into the game, and Sonto is not ready for that. The two ladies do not agree, and it’s more trouble for the Mofele family.
