On Gomora, Tiisetso Thoka is playing the role of June July, a gangster on a mission to avenge his father’s death. His father, Mike, was once in a romantic relationship with MamSonto, and their relationship faced the test of time, resulting in his death.
After his death, his family in the village struggled to make ends meet as their breadwinner was dead. June July grew up into a bitter man, and he promised himself that he would avenge his father’s death.
He is now back to avenge his father’s death and has made the life of MamSonto’s a living hell. June July hijacked the newly bought car of Sonto and has been kidnaping her granddaughters. As he is still on his mission, he meets Thati, the beautiful daughter of MamSonto, and he falls in love with her. It was love at first sight, and ever since he met Thati, he forgot about his avenging mission.
As he relaxed and tried to lure his newly found love, Thati, his boss Qhoqhoqho reminded him that he had to kill Thati in two weeks. Love is a strong feeling that can lead one to do the unthinkable. June July chose to kill Qhoqhoqho and save his sweetheart Thati.

The actor who has been charming Mzansi with his unmatched acting skills shared on his Instagram that he is celebrating his birthday today. Tiisetso Thoka was born on 16 June 1987. As of 2022, he is 35 years old.
Taking to Instagram, he wrote:
…and then a star was born 😎. Thank you, Lord, for another year of greatness 😭🍻🍾🥂🎊🎉
His fans and Mzansi wished him well on his birthday. However, many were shocked by his age as Tiisetso looks young and dynamic; one could never guess he is that old. He is the actual testimony that “black does not crack.”
