Jerry Mofokeng has gained popularity with his thuggish roles in the South African acting industry over the years. The actor is known for his role in Scandal, where he had been for years taking on the part of Neo Mokheti. Jerry shared that today is his birthday, and besides attracting his followers to his age, they also noted he had achieved a lot during his years as an actor.
Jerry Mofokeng has shared with his followers that today is his 66th birthday in a post where he shared a picture written 66 years of grace. In his comment section, some of his fans and former castmates wished him a happy birthday.
Mofokeng debuted his acting in 1994 after studying acting at Wits drama school, then later Theatre Directing at Columbia University. His career as an actor has been constant, and in turn, Jerry has an impressive business portfolio. Besides being an actor, he has dipped his hand in several successful businesses and has the success to prove it.

Before moving on to greener pastures, he got himself a job as a Lecturer at his alma mater, Wits University. He went from teaching at a school to owning a school in collaboration with his son. The school is called Maxter Group Academy, and he will focus on the acting department.
The veteran actor has also flexed his skills as a writer and published his memoir called I am Man. The book was launched in October 2021, and he has been promoting it on his social media accounts. He shared that to write the book; he had to be honest with himself and bare his soul to his readers no matter how much it hurt him.
