Durban Gen actress Fanele Ntuli became an instant hit when she landed a role in Uzalo playing Mandisa. The actress, who is still a fresh face in the entertainment industry, has a few television roles to her name. Her Durban Gen character is the first most significant role she has landed so far.
In the medical drama series, Fanele takes on the role of Dr Thandekile Zondo. Zondo is a second-year intern focused on her career and always strict as she wants to do anything that she can to learn and get ahead. The Doctor hardly has time for relationships, but she loves to gossip with her housemates once in a while.
Zondo once tried to have a relationship with a hotshot surgeon who came to consult at Durban Gen. Their relationship did not last as Zondo had her eyes on Dr Ngcobo, an intern with them. The two did not happily ever after Zondo was embarrassed to be seen with him, and he transferred from Durban Gen.

Before that, Fanele played the role of a schoolgirl in Isibaya. Her career as a theatre actress is more vast as she has been in many productions like Macbeth, In love with Shakespeare and many others.
