Nurse Sne’s wedding has been long-awaited by Durban Gen fans and viewers. Given that we know she is hiding a secret that may end her whole relationship with Doctor Dhlomo. However, her plan seems to be working as her wedding day is upon us despite knowing that she is lying about the paternity of her child. The actors and Durban Gen’s official Instagram page have shared the wedding pictures as a tease for the real episode coming today, and Mzansi is impressed by the outfits and decor of the prestigious wedding.
The backstory of the rushed wedding
Dr Dhlomo proposed to Sne and wants a rushed wedding because he says the ebola scare made him not want to waste any more time. Despite them not having done the traditional lobola negotiations, Sne said yes. On her part, she is trying to get hitched fast before her secret comes out and destroys her relationship. This has made her friends Calvin and Phumeza go into wedding planning mode with only three days to put everything together.
The venue and the cake
The venue for the wedding is to be at the seaside, and the theme is gold and white. The chairs scream royalty and class as they follow the theme of white with gold details on them. The cake is a four-tier cake with white and gold icing to compliment the theme.

The bride and groom are in white, with Sne’s dress being a white Cinderella gown with silver sequents on the bodice. Her hair is styled in an Afro braid and has white pins, then a white veil to compliment. Dr Dhlomo, on the other hand, is wearing a white suit.
Phumeza will take on her duties as the maid of honour, and her gown is Gold in colour. Deli Malinga and Magic Hlatshwayo make the appearance of Sne’s parents, and they are wearing a white and gold outfit and a black suit with a white shirt, respectively. Trust the jealous cousin Sihle to make heads turn in a red dress and on-point makeup.
Vusi Nova is making an appearance, and so are Thobile and Musa Mseleku. Even though their roles have not yet been announced, the wedding is Sne’s dream wedding. The viewers can only hope that a lot of drama and secrets will come out.
