However, today the celebrated DJ we all love to hate was celebrating his birthday and what stunned Mzansi was his age. DJ Black Coffee knows well how to keep his private life under wraps; no lie about that. He didn’t share any post concerning his birthday, but fellow artists showered him with birthday messages.
However, Mzansi has managed to connect the dots about his age in the mix of things. Black Coffee is older than we all thought, after all. DJ Black Coffee turned 46-years old today. He is a true testimony that black doesn’t crack. Nkosinathi Innocent Litiya Maphumulo was born in Umlazi, South Africa, on 11 March 1976. However, in the mix of things, he moved to Umtata.
Of interest is that Umtata is just 29 km away from Former President Nelson Mandela Qunu village. Many questions have been asked on why the DJ always keeps his left arm away from the cameras. Sources have it that he was involved in a fatal accident that saw his left arm being paralysed whilst celebrating the release of Nelson Mandela in 1990.
