He has fast become one of Mzansi’s finest. The seasoned actor is making all sorts of headlines with his unmatched talent. Clement Maosa is a South African actor, best known as Zamokuhle” Kwaito from Skeem Saam. His story is typical to that of rags to riches.
However, apart from acting, he is a celebrated businessman and a law practitioner. We can all agree Skeem Saam wouldn’t be the same without him. Of late, he has been making all sorts of headlines because of his rags to riches story. But it’s funny and weird knowing the fact he is a law graduate.
Clement Maosa studied law as per the desires of his parents at the University of Limpopo. The celebrated star actor had his passion for acting whilst he was young.
Even during his high school years, he featured in several screenplays. During his final year at University, he went for auditions and had his luck. The actor mentioned that he wanted to be a soldier when he grew up, but he later decided to be an actor later in life.

Although he studied Law, Clement stated that his calling of being an actor was too strong. He worked in a Law field for like three months and ditched it to become an actor. Ever since his choice to be an actor, Clement has become one of the most recognizable faces in Mzansi.
Well, despite living large and living the life of glitz and glamour, it wasn’t all rosy for him growing up. But we can all agree that the Mzansi star actor is winning big both on and off-screen.
In the Drum interview, Clement mentioned that he hasn’t had it easy in his life. He lost his mother when he was still matric, and unfortunately, his father followed later when he was about to go off to University.
” I attempted suicide twice after losing both my parents. I felt like I had nothing to live for. Little did I know that my purpose is bigger.”
