It seems making the right friends in the entertainment industry is very important in one’s hustles. Moozlie, who is a female rapper, is testimony to this. Here is a look at the rapper’s business empire and how she runs it.
The rapper, who was born in Benoni, East Rand, located in Johannesburg, is said to be very close with her family. Her career started in her hometown, where she got gigs as an MC in and around her hometown at the age of 16. At the age of 18, she won Miss Benoni’s title, which in turn launched her modelling career.
Her life as a model
After winning the Miss Benoni title in 2010, Moozlie modelled for several brands. The brands included ‘Khosi Khosi’ and The Trading post. She has also walked the ‘Palulu Loves Pop-up show’. In 2012 she won the MTV Base V.J. Search.
Brands that she has partnered with
The rapper has had the liberty to partner with the biggest brands in the game. In 2016 she landed a gig as brand ambassador for Adidas Originals for their sneakers. In 2020, she joined rapper AKA as an ambassador for Cruz Vodka, an alcohol brand. She was later fired this year in August after she posted a picture with a competing alcohol brand. She did not read the fine print in her contract and posted the picture unknowingly. After that deal flopped, she partnered with Castle lite.

She sometimes models her friend Dj Zinhle‘s jewellery line era by Zinhle. She also is paid to advertise Drip footwear products.
Her music career
In 2014, Moozlie joined K.O.’s record label Cashtime Life Records. Her debut in her rap career was through a feature on Rouge’s song called Mbongo Zaka. That song helped grow her fanbase as most people only knew her as a Television personality until the release of that song. She left the label in 2016, and two years later, she released her first album called Victory, which was a success. In 2020 she released her second album called I am a Star. She is thriving in her rap career with the help of her manager and boyfriend, Sbuda Roc.
Her friendship with Dj Zinhle and Pearl Thusi
These three women are the very epitome of girl power. These three friends support each other’s hustles and also party hard together. A fan on Instagram once joked that Moozlie should start paying rent at Dj Zinhle’s house because she is always there. Her birthday celebrations this year were held in Pearl Thusi‘s garden.

Moozlie owns a fancy Volkswagen and a BMW 420i Gran Coupe M Sport. Earlier this year, she was in the headlines after it was rumoured that she might lose her BMW due to failure to pay an Installment.
