Lois was a singer for nine years when she lived in Houston, Texas. She was part of International gospel star Israel Houghton’s Sound of the New Breed. She has also done backing vocals for famous artists and wrote songs for South African artists like HHP.
Lois Du Plessis also doubles up as a jewellery designer in real life. In 2014 she founded De-Anne Juanita, a company specialising in hand-made accessories inspired by fabrics and prints from around the world. Her line consists of earrings, bracelets, scarves, purses. The name of the company was derived from her given name Lois De-Anne Ju’anita Du Plessis.
