The most gorgeous girls in the country gathered to honour the beauty, talent, and empowerment of young women at the Miss Teenager South Africa pageant over the weekend.
Iminathi Dondolo, aged 16, from Western Cape, was crowned the winner and will now start a year-long journey representing the country and working on her chosen advocacy project.
The prestigious event, which took place at Silverstar Casino on Saturday, featured contestants from all over the nation displaying their talents, intelligence, and passion for various social causes.
“I am extremely grateful and thrilled to start my journey as Miss Teenager South Africa,” said Dondolo.
“This platform is not only about beauty, it is a powerful tool to influence and inspire positive change.” The event also recognised the achievements of Tersia Ramokutoane from North West and Asonele Memela from Eastern Cape, who were crowned first and second princesses, respectively.
Celebration of empowerment The Miss Teenager South Africa director, Kat Ncala, said: “The Miss Teenager South Africa pageant is more than a beauty contest. It’s a celebration of the power, empowerment and potential of young South African women.
“We are incredibly proud of all our contestants, and we are confident that Iminathi, Tersia, and Asonele will be outstanding ambassadors for youth empowerment.”
Miss Teenager South Africa is dedicated to providing a platform for young women to grow, express themselves, and contribute to their communities.
The pageant is not just a showcase of beauty but also a testament to the strength and diversity of South African youth.
Dondolo will embark on year-long engagements representing the pageant and its values. She will also be working on chosen advocacy projects that include her foundation Small Steps To Change.
