Imbewu: The Seed resurrects Ngcolosi and Fikile as views drop. In recent months Imbewu: The Seed is said to have had a decline in views, which has since forced the showrunners to do the unthinkable. In the wake of its deep, the drama series, which is co-produced by celebrated actress Leleti Khumalo who stars as MaZulu, has tagged along old characters back.
Reports say the drama series has added two lead actors back on board. We can all agree that we have all been wondering who these two actors are making a return on the drama series. City Press has since confirmed that Imbewu: The Seed has since tagged Tony Kgoroge, who starred as Zimele Bhengu, and Phindile Gwala, who nailed the on-screen character of Fikile Bhengu back on set.
Kgoroge, who starred as Zimele Ngcolosi Bhengu, dumped the drama series in 2020. In the wake of his exit, he saw himself starring in drama series like 7deLaan.

Mpumelelo Bhulose
The celebrated actor joined Imbewu as Zimele Bhengu. In the mix of things, his on-screen character was axed for unprofessional reasons. In 2018 he was fired for being unprofessional. His woes worsened when he had a fallout with Duma, who happens to be the creator of the drama series.
Fundiswa Zwane
The seasoned actress played the on-screen character of KaMadonsela. However, she was shown the exit in 2020 after she demanded a pay rise in the mix of things. In the mix of things, she switched the floor to Skeem Saam. Bubbly actress Brenda Mhlongo took over her on-screen character.
Brenda Mhlongo
She was a direct replacement for Fundiswa Zwane. She starred as KaMadonsela, but her time was short-lived when she was axed after having a fallout with Leleti Khumalo. Reports have it that the two even had a brawl on set.
