Buhle Samuels is making all sorts of headlines of late. Best known for her on-screen character Matshidiso on SABC2’s drama series Muvhango.
No doubt she was the face of the drama series and starred alongside some of Mzansi finest, MacDonald Ndou, who stars as KK. However, she was dumped by the showrunners in the eleventh hour as they brought in one of South Africa’s most-followed actresses, Thobejane.
In the wake of her exit, she saw herself losing several gigs as if she was being cancelled. In the backdrop of her exit, rumour has it that the actress was fired from Muvhango for poor ethical skills as she always pulled bossy moves on set. Her behaviour worsened other cast members’ freedom to express themselves on stage.
She ventured into music upon her exit, but things went south as Mzansi was not ready for her music.

MaZulu ‘Leleti Khumalo’ fires Bunhle Samuels with immediate effect
Some of her concerts failed to thrust her into the musical limelight. Fortune favours the bold. In 2019 she was cast in Imbewu: The Seed. The hit drama series is co-produced by Leleti Khumalo, who stars as MaZulu. Buhle Samuels was cast as Zandile Majola.
However, it seems as if the showrunners have decided to fire Bunhle Samuels. In the mix of things, the Zandile Majola character will be recast, and Scandal seasoned actress Angela Sithole will be recast as Zandile Majola.
Rumour has it that the star actress was fired for being bossy onset and late for scene shoots. However, this is the same reason she was fired whilst at Muvhango. Like always, the actress has yet to address the rumour linking her with an exit from Imbewu: The Seed.
On the other hand, showrunners have already confirmed that Angela Sithole will debut as Zandile Majola this December. This is the second time Buhle Samuels has been fired for similar reasons.
