Video: Idols SA Top 10 2020 contestants announced
Idols SA hosted an audience on Sunday after many weeks of broadcasting without an audience due to the lockdown regulations.
The families of the remaining 16 contestants were afforded an opportunity to watch their relatives perform during a process of selecting the final 10 contestants.

The show was opened by Master KG who put up an electric performance playing his global hit Jerusalema.
Another artist who performed was a previous Idol SA contestant, Lungisa from Season 11.
Some contestants from the top 16 performed “Don’t You Worry ‘Bout A Thine by John Legend.
Nozipho from Season 14 made a come back to perform her hit Themalami.
Loyiso, a former Idols SA contestant performed her song Intliziyo.

Six contestants were eliminated from the competition and the top ten contestant remaining are Mr Music, Be, Ntokozo, Bongi, Zama, Brandon, Suceedor, Zanothando,Juma and Ndoni.
Randall Abrahams, one of the judges said it is up to South Africans to vote for thhe contestants they want “Even though you are impressed by one of them it is up to the viewers to vote,” he said.
Unathi believes the this year’s edition is the best and it is going to be harder for contestants to win, “It is going to be a tough year, all the contestants who have made it are all well-deserving,” she said.
Somizi added that not the greatest singers will win it “It’s the nature of show business,” he said.

Rethabile and Master KG performed Ntyilo just before Kamo Mphela, Bontle Smith and MFR Souls closed off the show with their recent hit Amanikiniki.
