Reality TV star Thobile MaKhumalo Mseleku denies being in a polygamous marriage for money. MaKhumalo decided to pour cold water on the rumours that she married her husband to secure a soft life. She went live on Facebook, which has since been shared on YouTube, where she addressed comments about her personality, marriage and finances in their polygamous marriage.
Makhumalo said she married her husband because she loved him, not for money. She revealed that she is the epitome of hard work and does not need a man to pay her bills. She clarified that she works for her money and does not beg her husband, Musa, for money.
The reality star was fuming fire on her live, and in her own words, she said:
Where is the money? We are living a normal life, please. I dated Mseleku, and he did not give me money. I did not just meet him; I knew him before we even dated. He was a great man, but I did not say here is Mseleku courting me and this means money is coming now. He started pursuing me when I was still very young, and it took me years to accept him, so I was not attracted to him for his money
Makhumalo also revealed something that got Mzansi talking. She explained that she works for the money she doesn’t live a luxurious life because she is one of Musa’s wives. She said being Musa’s wife does not mean you are given money and don’t go to work.

MaKhumalo poured her heart, talking about how she is always enduring what people say behind her back. She openly stated that it hurts her that most people think she is a slay queen who got married into a polygamous marriage for money.
I am one person who likes criticism. I do not like to deal with people who love me because when people love you, they will sometimes not tell you when you are wrong because they will forever be scared you might get hurt by what they are going to say to you
“I love to go on social media because I know people can be very cruel. People are telling it like it is and I respect their views. It’s not everything that they’ll say that will be true. If it’s something I cannot change, obviously I won’t change it and it won’t affect me, but if it’s something I can work on to become better, I’ll do that. They will love you today, they hate you tomorrow and you don’t have to take it to heart.
After Makhumalo finished her live, she was topping the trends on social media. Many people praised her for opening up about working hard to support her husband.
