The show portrays two different extremes of Mzansi families, the boujie Twalas and the ghetto fabulous Sellos. Opposites that attract but cause chaos! The shoe’s tag line basically explains it all- happy families are boring! The show is relatable as it presents characters derived from real life black families. The dramatic aunties, the black sheep sibling, the drunk uncle who spices up everything. The key selling point of the show is perhaps its relatability above everything. The story is set around Beauty and Sbu’s wedding. A couple that is trying as much as possible to have a drama free wedding but clearly it’s too much to ask. No such thing as an African wedding without drama.
