Skeem Saam actor Katlego ‘Patrick Seleka’ age shocks Mzansi
Of late, he has seen his name trending for the wrong reasons. He was once Mzansi’s favourite, but cheating allegations and divorce woes run his blooming career into the drain, but the seasoned actor never ceases to amaze.
In the backdrop of all this drama, Patrick Sekela has been wowing Mzansi with his unmatched talent as Katlego Peterson. The seasoned actor stars as Katelogo on SABC 1’s drama series Skeem Saam. However, of interest is that he is a jack of all trades and a master of all.
Apart from acting, he doubles as a Chef and a DJ. In recent years he has been DJying on SABC radio stations on a part-time basis. Just like those before him, he debuted to the small screens through the theatre.
In one of his interviews, he revealed that he joined the CSP theatre group, which furnished his career whilst in high school. He once performed at the famous state and Market Theatre.
After a series of failed auditions, he finally secured a gig on Skeem Saam in 2011. Since then, he has been with drama series. Given that his thrust into the limelight probably came whilst he was young.
Mzansi has been wondering how old could he be. It seems as if Kat is not from Cape Town but was born in Seshego, Limpopo, South Africa. The actor was born on 19 February 1992.
Growing up, he wanted to be a policeman just like his father but became an actor. After matriculating, he furthered his education in IT before he enrolled at The School of Arts in Pretoria. No doubt he is living large and enjoying his fair share of fame.
He is a fav fan of VW Polo and has several GTI’s in his garage. At some point, he was once spotted cruising in an R1.2 million Volkswagen Golf GTI.
A few months ago, he saw himself trending after his viral video of alleged abuse went viral. However, in a now-deleted Instagram story, Seleka did admit to abusing his wife, Mmabaneng Seleka. At some point, he was rumoured gay after viral pictures of him dolled up in make and dresses flooded social media. In his defence, the actor revealed that he was playing with his daughter and decided to take some pictures for keeps.
