Zimbabwe: Reports claim Chinese nationals are dying in their homes as hospitals reject to deal with them. Reporting on twitter, Journalist Hopewell Chin’ono claimed that he holds substantive evidence that Chinese nationals are being rejected in hospitals.
Posting on his twitter account, Hopewell said
Doctors have told me that Chinese nationals are dying in their homes. Funerals palours and Government hospitals are refusing to deal with them. Obadiah Moyo has lost control of this crisis due to incompetence! Today Parirenyatwa & palours refused the bodies of Chinese nationals
He further claimed that a dead Chinese National was being driven around in a car in Harare after hospitals refused to admit.
“As you are reading this there is a dead Chinese National being driven around in a car in Harare after hospitals refused to admit. He died at a private health facility &his body was taken to Wilkins. Wilkins refused to, even grave yards are refusing to bury. Can some1 take charge? “

Zimbabwe has 13 ventilators for a population of 17million people, New York has 15000 ventilators for a population of 8million people. Wilkins & Thorngrove are the Coronavirus centers, they have no ventilator. 5% of the population will need them, that is 850000 are we ready?
The Makamba family was asked to pay USD$120 000 at Wilkins hospital for a ventilator machine, will and average citizen afford such kind of amount?
