Home Affairs Minister rubbishes claims that Bushiri recently sneaked in and out of SA
Home Affairs Minister Aaron Motsoaledi boldly rubbished rumours levelled against him by the National Council of Provinces (NCOP). However, the council had s it that the Minister was aware that Bushiri and his wife returned to South Africa after they have skipped South Africa for Malawi after being granted bail in their fraud case.
It was alleged that this was at the time the law-enforcement agencies were looking for him after he fled to his home country of Malawi last November. He and his wife were on bail of R200 000 each.
It was during this question and answer session the Minister made it known that Bushiri hasn’t shown up in Mzansi yet after his big escaped. Motsoaledi dismissed the reports.
Motsoaledi said there was no evidence to show that Bushiri re-entered the country despite being a wanted man. The reports claimed he had visited the country three times after he escaped with his wife. South Africa has sent in a request to Malawi to extradite Bushiri to stand trial with his wife Mary, but the matter is caught up in legal processes in Malawi. Motsoaledi said there was no evidence Bushiri returned to South Africa.

Despite the Minister putting the case to rest rumour has it that man of oath and justice fugitive Bushiri was in South Africa seeing his loyal congregants but authorities did not know. What is worse is no one can trace his movements in South Africa.
This has many questioning the security of the country. A video of Bushiri faking not to understand a simple question about the money laundering allegations is circulating on social media. However recently Bushiri failed to answer money laundering and fraud charges.
In a viral video, Bushiri keeps asking the interviewer to repeat his question so that he avoids answering it. The question is simple but to avoid the problem Bushiri had to play dumb. According to reports the wanted prophet has been sneaking in and out of South Africa. He even managed to evade state security after officials ignored a tip-off. Many are wondering if the state security decided to ignore him or if they were aware of his presence.
