Former United States First Lady Hillary Clinton has has added her voice to the Zimbabwe situation by calling for the release of political prisoners.
She posted on her Twitter account, “I’m calling for the government of Zimbabwe to release all political prisoners, including Godfrey Kurauone, who represent the country’s future. Justice demands it.”

Many political activists and opposition MPs have been arrested in Zimbabwe as the government continues to crackdown on critics.
One of the most notable cases is that of journalist Hopewell Chin’ono who is currently in prison over trumped up charges.
