Queen B was born and bred in Mafikeng in South Africa. She grew up in a family where her parents were highly educated and valued education. According to Bonang’s parents, education would make one respected and honoured in society, so they ensured their daughter had the best education.
Bonang did her matric education at the Fourways High School in Johannesburg. The Fourways High School is a prestigious high school in South Africa’s heart. When she was doing her matric, Bonang was a brilliant child who would participate in the school quiz competitions.
Due to the extra efforts, she applied in her studies, she passed grade 12 with flying colours and registered for tertiary education. Queen B holds a BA in Marketing from the University of Johannesburg, and she graduated with a distinction.
After her graduation, Bonang auditioned to be a host at SABC Live, and fortunately, she got the job. Being a host at SABC Live marked the beginning of her career in the entertainment world.
